The QuickSupport app by TeamViewer allows you to get instant IT support for your mobile, tablet, Chromebook or Android TV.
In just a few easy steps, QuickSupport enables your trusted remote partner to connect to your device to:
• provide IT support
• transfer files back and forth
• communicate with you via chat
• view device information
• adjust WIFI settings, and much more.
It can receive connection requests from any device (desktop, web browser or mobile).
TeamViewer applies the highest security standards to your connections, ensuring you are always in control of granting access to your device and establishing or ending sessions.

To establish a connection to your device, you need to do the following:
1. Open the app on your screen. Connections can't be established if the app is running in the background.
2. Share your ID with your partner or enter a code into the ‘Join Session’ box.
3. Accept the connection request every time. Without your explicit permission, the connection can’t be established.

Connect only with users you trust. The app will provide you with user details, such as name, email, country, and license type, so you can verify the identity before granting access to your device.

Quick startup guide:
1. Your session partner will send you a personal link to the QuickSupport application. Clicking the link will start the app download.

WATCH OUT FOR SCAMMERS! Had an email from "PayPal" with an invoice for a recent purchase, but I didn't use PayPal to buy it. Was concerned and called the number provided, only to be told that I had been hacked and I needed to download this app so he could cancel the "purchase" and refund me. As soon as I saw that this would give them remote access to my device I uninstalled and reported them to actual PayPal. Only got it back long enough to warn others, so they don't risk being scammed as well.

Adding another warning! Scammers are utilizing this app to get your banking info. Like others who have posted, I got an email from "best buy/geek squad" about a pending charge and when I reached out to number included it, they had me download this app. Also, like the others they wanted me to open my bank account app to "verify that the charge was dropped" and when I refused to do so, the person I was speaking to told me I had no choice but to. I hung up and blocked their numbers.

Works great until one day Teamviewer thinks your use is commercial, and then they only let you use it for 30 seconds at a time before disconnecting you for 10 minutes. I filled out the form declaring that my use was non-commercial, scanned it and sent it to Teamviewer, but it made no difference. I'd be willing to pay for personal use of the product, but it's not even an option.

very upset. you made too complicated for my mom to accept the upcoming connection on her phone. Device Samsung. Android 14 too many checks to validate me for her. new add-on was hard to install, needs to be automated. enabling the accessibility section was not clear enough to be done without guidance. the prompt at the end of a session was not translated, too long and confusing when out of context.

it does not work. won't open link or app from browser, also keeps asking for email address, when one is entered it either goes into send an email or the app link doesn't work.

Doesn't work anymore. On one Samsungdevice I can only view the screen and family member has to scroll to the settings whilst on another phone whilst calling her to tell her where to click on the mobile. My S25plus doesn't work at all. It loads and shows the mobile phone from the computer but then the connection freezes. Prior versions worked fine but now it's totally useless for the mobile phones. Granted it's a free version but still.
