-Tips for Use-
■ How to Read News from Your Own Country/Region■
By default, the region setting of your "News" tab is taken from the language and region settings of your device. For example, if your device’s language is set to “English (United States),” then news from the U.S. will be displayed. If you are unable to read news from the region you are staying in, you can use the method below to change the region setting.
* Please note this resets the app to its initial state, deleting all feeds and bookmarks which have been registered.
1. Go to "Apps & notifications > News Suite > Storage & Cache" in your phone settings and select "Clear Storage".
* This will delete feeds and bookmarks which have been registered.
2. Restart News Suite
3. Select the link for "Terms of service" from the starting screen
4. Choose the region you stay in under "Select your language/region"
■ Setting Up Push Notifications ■
Users can receive periodic updates via push notifications with "Scheduled News," as well as push notifications for important news articles with "Additional feeds and other info of interest"
You can turn notifications on or off, and set timings, by selecting "Settings," followed by "Notifications," from the upper right menu.

Exactly what the name states. Just a news feed collected from multiple sources. No frills. It works great, although I would love a search feature (I cannot find one, although I suppose there could be one somewhere...). I wish the categories were a little more refined. For example, I see many articles on movies in the "Tech" section. I guess this makes a little sense, but I would rather the section focused solely on technology and gadgets. Otherwise, a perfectly fine app!

I have been using it for a number of years, and I guess I would say I really like it. love the interface, the navigation between feeds through tabs. It also requires no registration, and supports Keyword filters (Doesn't work very well on some search topics, works very well on others.). As cons: No sync (but no account, so it's understandable), no way to get rid of ads (unless you have an adblocker on your network), and censorship (couple feeds of mine don't work anymore. They do on other apps)

This app is going downhill down 👇 hill seriously, I tried to open one of the news headlines, it worked but as I scrolled down, it went back to the headlines page. Also the app has got the tendency of freezing, buffering, which threatens the switching off of my phone 📱, especially when I try to watch a video, these videos load and freeze for a ridiculously long time. I trusted this app but not the anymore!

Some of the clickbait is so obviously fake. For instance, there will be a picture of someone like Phillip Schofield, and a vague headline implying they are in serious legal trouble. On top of that, the actual content is pretty much the same as all of the other news apps around. To make it worse, I can't remove the app from my 'phone. Also, you can't just click on most stories to read them, you've got to click on a story, then click on read more, so you've got two presses to open.

Not using it currently but have used it for some time earlier. It's an advertisement delivery app rather than a NEWS app. Thought I'd try it again but no improvement; it's cluttered, can't decide whether it wants to keep or cede control over what & how the content is to be delivered and has confusion all around. It also started bombing me with get quick rich scheme ads. Change the "Contains ads." to "Contains spam". Goodbye.

Endless endless crashes. Most news site pages (CBC, Global, even CTV now) don't even open anymore. Though going to their exact same pages with other browsers or apps, works fine. Have sent them feedback a number of times but they seem to use it to make the app even more unstable if anything...every new version seems worse than the last. This crash-fest abomination isn't a real news app anymore...put it out of its misery.
