Herbal medicines are those with active ingredients made from plant parts, such as leaves, roots or flowers. But being "natural" doesn't necessarily mean they're safe for you to take. Just like conventional medicines, herbal medicines will have an effect on the body, and can be potentially harmful if not used correctly.

Phytotherapy: suitable medicinal plants:
✓ Arnica is an herb that grows in Europe and the U.S. It's often used as a skin treatment for bruises, aches, and pains;
✓ Calendula flower is used to prevent muscle spasms, start menstrual periods, and reduce fever;
✓ Aloe vera is commonly known as a topical gel used to treat sunburn;
✓ Ginseng. You might already know about this popular herb, which may boost your body’s defenses (immune system) among other possible benefits. Two types of it -- American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius) and Asian (Panax ginseng) -- are considered natural adaptogen.
✓ Chamomile. As a traditional medicine, it is used to treat wounds, ulcers, eczema, gout, skin irritations, bruises, burns, canker sores, neuralgia, sciatica, rheumatic pain, hemorrhoids, mastitis and other ailments

Really loved this app. Paid for ad-free version as well. Worth the money in my eyes. My only struggle is I REALLY wish it was a bit easier to search for a plant using basic common names as well as being able to adjust for only plants in your area. Adding a location option would up this by a star. If you know how to read and are educated well enough, this is a very clear and concise app. Pretty easy UI but not fancy and complicated.

Most complete app I've found yet for edible and medicinal plants. My biggest complaint is listing them by their Latin names instead of most common. Although you can search by most common name, it's kind of a pain. The photos are hi res of you click on them which is great. However, it would be nice to have more photos and maybe commonly misidentified plants.

potential to be a great app. most common people interested in herbs don't know herbs by their "botanical name"! list by "common name" as well! I don't have time to click every herb for the remedy I'm looking for. Adds don't need to run as long as they do and not be able to click out!

Hands down the best app for herbs. ive tried all the other apps out and they have hardly anything listed, probably only about 5% of what you have on yours. Very well done. Thank you so much for this! My only suggestion for improvement is an option to switch from scientific names to common names.

If you don't know the Latin name, you're screwed right off the bat. This gives an indepth -read, WAY TOO MUCH- info on any given plant. It would take FAR TOO LONG to find the info you need or want. But, this is the ONLY app I've seen that tells what other apps are used and why. We NEVER see the names of the info gatherers.

It's a great app. The only problem is that they're listed using their scientific names which makes searching them more difficult. Please switch to common names, or allow an option to toggle between them.
