I enjoy this version & there are a lot of topics to choose from but the old one felt endless - I miss that. Two days ago I began playing again for the 1st time since the old one became unavailable so long ago. I've been playing the free version with ads: so far the ads aren't intrusive & I haven't felt like I need to purchase anything with real money. My waits for random opponents have been less than 60 seconds. I also appreciate that the app's permissions aren't extreme or suspicious.

Do not fall for this game. It is a poorly designed cash grab. The other players are mostly bots. (You can literally wait 15 minutes between matches, hit rematch and the oppnant will always automatically accept regardless of how long you wait). The questions are easy and the answers are sometimes compltely wrong (like saying The Beast from Beauty and the Beast is a Teapot). Forced ads between rounds and no ad removal option. This game, is a scam.

Haven't been on this gane since 2015. I'm glad to hear that it's back. But honestly, you guys took 5 steps back with this version of the game. The UI and overall appearance of the game really needs to be re-designed. And as far as the actual "gameplay." Just like before, I only ever participate in the "Harry Potter" category. But almost every game I am getting into, I always end up getting the same questions. There needs to be more variety on the questions for the HP category.

I went searching for the original app only to find out that it was no longer around. I downloaded this game with hopes it would be just as good; I stood corrected. There are limited topics, which are oddly specific, and you can't even search for your own specific topic. There was also an ad after every single round played and you have to pay like £4-£5 just to get rid of them. The original game should've been kept around! This is a big downgrade and is WAY less fun and enjoyable. Not worth it.

This game is a pale imitation of its predecessor. The original QuizUp was one of the best apps ever. It was amazing. The amount of topics, and questions for each topic, felt endless. The social aspect of it was great too. I made a lot of friends through our mutual love of certain topics. This current rendition feels empty and soulless in comparison.

very limited number of questions, when playing a round I got the same question twice in a row. Questions will have multiple correct options but only one of them counts as being correct. Multiple questions have the wrong answer marked as the correct one, and the only way to flag it is via email instead of being able to do it right in the app.
