It's about time for an update, guys. Cuts out occasionally and sometimes takes a long time to load HD feed, and SD is worthless. I have fiber optic high-speed internet, so it's not the connection. I've had this app for a few years, and it's never been updated.

Functionality, the app is quite good. But, the camera (Dahua)​ interface firmware needs some work to improve connectivity when the camera is being used on a system where the ISP uses CG-NAT, doesn't have port forwarding and blocks incoming connections. Very often it takes multiple failed attempts to make connection. Significant improvement is possible as the Govee devices on the same network are virtually 100% available immediately externally. This is a significant shortcoming.

App needs a revamp. It's certainly not user friendly. You do need to play around with the app to learn about the features. The user states there is an option to change Time Zones, however there is no option so the time on the camera is out of sync which is most important. Unless I'm using Wi-Fi, the camera won't connect via Data Usage. Terrible. Which means you can't view any live feeds unless you have Wi-Fi. Camera's work and recently setup the motion. Able to playback footage.

Only thing works is live video stream That also doesn't work many times when you're on mobile data, fails many times even on wifi issue that makes this app pretty useless, as others also pointed out - there's no easy way to select time slots for old video playback, no option to download on mobile, no option to find/delete saved videos on HDD!

Searching for a video is horrible. Videos don't even have thumbnails to aid in searching. You can't download saved videos basically can only screen record to save them. I have a bunch of videos I need. I have to watch every one of them individually just to save them.

Contrary to many coments, I actually love this app. It works seamlessly. I think it's just that many don't know how to set it up correctly and that's why they have issues with it. I suppose detailed instructions could certainly go a long way but this app works for me especially when I'm away overseas. I can clearly see all my cameras at home.
