Like many other backgammon games, higher AI just means "luckier" roles. This, in turn, makes your backgammon game worse, not better, because you avoid being hit no matter the odds. For example, I had one piece open. AI character had a 2-in-36 chance of hitting it. Of course, it was hit. I had 4-points open to get off the bar. After 4-doubles in a row, I was still on the bar. AI opponent then covered their third point. 8-rolls later, I was still on the bar with 3-points still covered. What odds??

Changing my review. Started out good with actual random dice roll. Now after playing for awhile as all the other backgammon games, computer gets many, many doubles and often in a row. Sigh! Thought this was a good one at first. Leaving the review at 3 because of no ads. No ads. Wish dice were bigger so you could read it easier. Wish you could choose what color you wanted to be. Atmosphere of game a little boring.

I couldn't move the piece I wanted to move. I could move the piece the game might have expected me to move. I won't fight a game for each move I want to make. AI Factory's Backgammon is superior. I was just trying something different. Mistake. Back to my trusty AI Factory Backgammon, where I can play offline, the game moves quickly, and the computer doesn't win all the time.

Great option to play without the doubling cube. A couple things could be improved. Weird that there is an UNDO button that can only be used after the first die move, not the second. Also long gaps of time after one player moves before the dice are rolled again - makes the game SO slow. If you are going to timeout a player for not playing within a certain time, then DISPLAY THE TIMER! No warning on when previous player is done. Overall this is my go to app for pure, unadulterated backgammon!

Points off because you must slide each one into the exact place. Sometimes it doesn't respond or the piece goes to the wrong place and if it is second, there is no way to undo. It would be easier if you could touch on piece,then touch on destination and have it go there. No type of award when you win. No doubling or auto move setting. Otherwise, good game

The rolls are fair which is huge but moving the pieces is difficult. The undo button doesn't last long enough so I frequently have to abandon games I'm winning because the pieces landed wrong. The colors are laid out wrong. The points should alternate (with clearly contrasting colors) all the way around the board so you can quickly visualize your moves. It's as if the designer doesn't have a lot of experience with a real board. The scoring is odd, too but there's not enough space to explain
