Everything has to be done through the app. Unfortunately, the app crashes so you can't make any progress. After restarting my phone, redownloading the app, and changing networks. The app still does not function. By far the worst bank I have ever worked with. They are impossible to get ahold of, staff is unhelpful, and they make every process impossible.

Horrible app, works 50\50 times, scanning QR code doesn't work during late hours. Have to use bunq, it's way more reliable. Just ridiculous how such a huge bank can't make everything work smoothly. For some features it just switches you to a browser. And what is more irritating after that it stops showing notifications! Transactions date-time is always chaotic, sometime I get notifications 3 days late and after a week just can't remember why I transferred money somewhere. And Eng localization...

Few weeks ago, kept crashing immediately after opening. At some point (other update?) began working again. No suddenly back to the same problem. App is up to date and cache is cleared etc. Edited: Followed your sugg below. Made no difference. And edited again: started working again spontaneously for a few days. Then stopped again. Problem keeps coming back! Still same problem ,okt 2025. Every now and then app works for a few days, but then stops. No help anywhere.

I hate being lied to. Something changed in the app around the time I upgraded to Android 16. I tried to find out if it was an issue with the ING app of Android 16. The chatbot Ida was no help, the live person tried her best but eventually told me to call the support number and ask for technical support. Calling the support line first gave me the impression it was a known issue with the app and would be solved in a next update. In continuing the call, it changed to it being an Android issue.

Worked fine for quite some time, but off late, the fingerprint option does not start automatically as it used to do as long as I remember. now you need to click on the fingerprint icon to start logging in with fingerprint. Has this been disabled? Any chance this might be activated again, since it's quite handy to show the fingerprint option right away when starting the App.
