This is one of a few Google installed apps that I tried to turn off from the very beginning of getting this phone. Yet everytime I turn around it's reinstalled. It's a dirty dog way of doing business when you tell a vendor you don't want something repeatedly and every time you look at the invoice you see it there anyway.

Twice a day I have to go back into the application settings on my phone to disable this app and uninstall updates because somehow it has the ability to modify the settings I have placed on my phone and reinstate itself. It can't be completely uninstalled. I cannot overstate how frustrating and invasive this feels. This app is nothing but pure malware and probably spyware. Stay away!

Don't want it and can't uninstall in my device. Please allow me to uninstall. Telling me how to shut off the notifications doesn't allow me to uninstall the app so you're just wasting more of both of our time. Unless you tell me how to remove this app from my phone ther is no answer or reply to my review that will be helpful.

Can care less about the news.Wish I can delete. Not saying anything has I'm sure it's a good app and keeps you informed. It's nothing personal. I just don't want any new app. I'd leave the same remark regardless of what news app it is this be just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. That's all. Again, don't take it to heart as ts not a personal attack. I'm sure it's a good app. It's just not an app I would use.

I love how they get called out for using a copy & paste response for all negative reviews and then they respond with the very copy & paste response they were getting flamed for. It has nothing to do with notifications, we simply dont want this shady app on our phones. Lets see how long it takes until they copy & paste their flagship response...

I never installed this app on my device and now there's no option to uninstall it. Please take it off of my device or I'm going to Google play store CEO until I get it removed permanently. Your app is a hack of some kind.
