App used to have a keyboard for command entry. It no longer does. I'm hearing impaired, so voice commands are problematic. I really would appreciate having the ability to type commands again. Also, because only voice commands, and my hearing issues, it rarely understands what I'm saying. *a year later and this is still an issue. seriously, a keyboard option for us with hearing issues. come on. 7-25-25

I can never connect a device in one go. There's always an issue in some connection step. Any troubleshooting is a pain to go through and not easy to follow. I dread everytime I have to open the app to connect a new device. You should also be able to ignore devices found if they aren't yours. I shouldn't have to skip over the device a neighbor has over and over to just try to find the one I'm trying to set up.

We have a Chromecast with a broken remote. Shame on me for not replacing the remote, I know, but I didn't see a need to because we could just use this app and control the Chromecast from a virtual remote. I'm not sure what happened recently, it seems they are rolling out progressive updates with the latest version, and the once reliable method to control our Chromecast is gone. This version is feeling half backed and unrefined.

Not intuitive and horrible. None of the devices seem to work together at all and there doesn't seem to be a way to connect them. The interfacing is not helpful and menus offer no help. I had a Ring and I plugged in a chime and Installed a battery doorbell and they magically worked. I have a nest mini and a hub and apparently neither works with the battery doorbell. Two apps to set up. Don't know why you need nest and google home, and I barely get a notification on my phone. Disappointed.

The latest update breaks LIGHTS!! I can no longer physically add Philips Hue lights as new devices. The option to select Philips Hue is not even listed in the menu! Was it removed and you guys just don't want to admit it? Numerous phone calls and over an hour or two later, Google support tells me to call Hue and then get back to them... as it's a "not our problem" issue. Ridiculous!

Unreliable. Buggy. It would be awesome if they made it work properly. Customer service is useless. Perhaps different devices have different issues. S25 Ultra. Geo fencing works for a while, then stops, maybe after update? Trying to create a new automation: no access to devices in "actions." Why?
