Although this app lacks functionality for other aspects of MyAnimeList, in terms of simply tracking and editing your anime/manga lists this is superior to the official app. You can actually edit tags, you can see NSFW series, you can have English titles, the lists don't bug out when you make changes. The only critiques I have are: 1. You can't set watch date to "unknown" 2. You can't see entry notes like you can with tags 3. You can't search for series by genre, only name. That's pretty much it.

Really good, easy to use, but sometimes the search bar disappears and when I looked up "Given" on the app it didnt show but when I looked up "Given" online, it did show up and redirected it for me. But other than that this app is perfect for me although some shows seperate the season while other shows seasons are put into one selection. Other than that I really recommend this app because it is some much easier to keep track of my Anime and manga all in one place in which my stuff is saved.

When I first downloaded the app, it had a bug that didn't allow me to log in so I had to uninstall. Today I thought about giving it another try and downloaded again and it worked!! After using it for a while I can say, Pocket MAL seems to be the best MAL client available on play store right now. Not only does it have a user-friendly interface but it is also ad-free. Absolutely love it!

Very simple and nice interface. No cluttering with lots of info just what you would expect of an "on the go client". Most clients don't understand this feature as for more info one can always just visit their website so why would they give all those in the app? This app understands it and serves it up deliciously.

Efficient, fast, and simple. I love this app. Hear me out, I think it would be nice to be able to also edit your comments on an anime in your list, just like in the web version. It will be great to have it because I use it to keep note of details and experience from an anime. Please put this feature if you may... Also, follow system theme please? For now, I am enjoying the ability to edit tags and all the other existing features.

Its a pretty good app to keep track of your anime and manga. If you are looking for something to show english titles this is not the app for you. I have found it is missing several well known anime and manga titles unfortunately. I did not expect something as comon as High School of the Dead to be missing from its line up of choices for instance. Odd, seeing as how it has every obscure DVD/BD bouns content short for a lot of shows as options. Either way its still a pretty good option to catlog.
