Can you program the app so that when a listing you have saved in your favorites is sold, it remains as a visible listing, just with "sold" or "this listing is no longer available" written on the image like on the autos app? I don't like how on the kijiji app, whenever your favorited listings are marked SOLD, the listing disappears from your favorites as if it never existed. It's bad because if you don't send a message to the seller then you will have no proof of the listing for reference.

Searching for a car and have at least two sellers tell me that the car has been sold already, and that they have marked it as such. One seller indicates that the car sold two years ago!!! Yet these cars still show up in the search results. This causes me to hunt down cars that are not available and is a complete waste of my time. Kijiji do better!

The app always has issues. Saved searches can be viewed from two places, usually at least one of the possible selections backs out of saved searches altogether, rather than back to the list like it used to. You have to click on "more" if you are interested in reading any description longer than a sentence or two. The app always feels like it's in beta.

The app works fine. I've been using this app for well over a decade to buy, sell, and just sinply browse. ( It's been my FB, Insta, Tik Tok, ect ). Now the app just has wayyy too may irritating ads. I understand that this is where the revenue comes from to make the app free. I get it. But if this app will turn out to be an app for ads, people will head over to other apps like Market Place. To get an ad after every four listings is a little much. plus the bottom of the screen is dedicated to ads.

Why bother trying to renew a listing after receiving an email asking if you want to renew. It only links you to a page "My Ad Status," and there is NO PLACE on that page to renew. No point in trying to contact them since AI will gather as much info as possible and then switch you to a tech, (which will cost you a $2 (refundable fee). Then you have to repeat everything you mentioned to AI. It's a big "grrrrrrr" from me lately. At one time Kijiji was the place to go - buying and selling!!!

I've had some success with the app. Two negatives I have noticed: sometimes messages don't go through. i arranged a meeting with a seller, agreed that I would message them once I get there. I waited half an hour, sent multiple messages and gave up. when I arrived home they messaged me saying they just received all the messages 15 minutes after I left. Second negative: it seems to commonly be overshadowed by Facebook marketplace which is frustrating for someone without Facebook.
