Self downloaded at some point, opens automatically when I unlock my phone, and has ads all over it. Completely invasive and unsolicited. it was actually really hard to find the name because it's logo is almost identical to the app called Moment. Google lense helped. Was only able to uninstall by finding it in the play store and selecting uninstall. Still shows up in settings after uninstalling. I ended up disabling it in settings.

Brings up unwanted new updates on home screen every morning. Seems to hide the its title, and doesn't show up in app list, so I had to search for it in the widgets. When I finally found the name, it says that notifications are already off despite a full screen news reel daily. When I search the internet on how to get rid of it, people are also having trouble. It's function is redundant to apps that I already have, its invasive, and it has tons of ads, so they're just making money off it anyway!

How to Disable. Most of us can't uninstall. You can disable and force stop it though. Here's how: 1. Go to Settings. 2. "Apps" or "Apps & notifications." 3. Locate "Essentials" (May need to select "See all apps") 4. Some can "Uninstall". Do that. If you can't then: 5. "Force Stop." and 6. "Disable." (Ignore the warning, it's BS meant to get you to keep it ) You may have to redo these steps every time you update your phone.

This app appeared out of nowhere. I never install apps that I don't thoroughly vet first. Notifications just say content hidden and clicking on it does nothing. Cannot find it in the search bar. You have to go to your apps list in settings to remove, and it only disables it. This thing has easy to many permissions for something that just installed itself with no authorization from the device owner.

This app was force installed on my device with the latest update for my phone. Randomly opens when I'm using my phone or when I first unlock it. It is impossible to uninstall, so I disabled it in the apps to prevent it from running. Go to Settings > Apps > Find "Essentials" application > Force Stop & Disable App Hope this helps someone who's in the same boat!

This app is such a problem. It cannot be removed from your phone and it has insane ammounts of ads as well as potential to add viruses to your phone. I had to disable the app as much as I could in Google Play and through my App settings but it cannot be perminantly removed from the device. The app will spontaneously open on yoie phone when you access or unlock your device if it's up to date and enabled. Even when it was disabled, I was still getting notifications.
