HomeBudget is an integrated expense tracker designed to help you track your expenses, income, bills-due and account balances. It offers support for budgeting and allows analysis of your expenses and income, including charts and graphs. Two key differentiating features of HomeBudget are:
1. Integrated set of features. The features within HomeBudget are well integrated such that a bill can become an expense (when you pay for it) and also adjust the account balance at the same time.
2. Family sync. HomeBudget includes Family Sync, an advanced feature that allows a group of devices within the household (Android, iPhone, iPad) to exchange expense and income information, and work together within a single budget. Once setup, the devices sync with each other automatically over the air. Family Sync works across all features including Bills and Accounts. this app is not for Android. finger print login or biometric login is not supported though I requested a couple of times. "Look back" is a good feature to check your expense history, but you need to click through calendar to reach the month or year you want to see, instead of scroll bar. if you need to look back 10 years, good luck with that as you need to click 120 times! I requested these changes a couple of times, no response.

Love the basic functionality of the app, and that we can sync between my Mac, my wife's iphone and my Android. Three stars for the following: I would love to get a quick lookback for the month, instead of having to click through several steps. Also, love that you can reorder categories on the iPhone app; that needs to be carried over to the Android and Mac desktop apps!

The app is great, but there are a few things that would be very nice. It would be nice to be able to budget my income the same way I can budget expenses, this way I can track easier whether I'm getting my hours at work or budgeting properly, etc. Also, it would be nice to be able to zoom in on the receipt attachments after they are submitted.

Used it for years and was working perfectly until I changed phone and
discovered that now it generates all incomes and expenses in advance and
you cannot get it at due date only!! What a mess. Also you are blocked to
setup end date above 2 years!! does it mean that you are not allowed to use
it for mortgages? If these functionalities are not available anymore I
recommend anyone not to select this app, and I'll have to look for an
alternative one. Please fix. And you'll get back your stars

I've used this app over many years using both iOS and now Android 13. It's functionality and form are very good. Like all accounting apps there's an initial learning curve but once through this its plain sailing. I've not come across any glitches or bugs and the included user help files are adequate. The reports are well designed and give clear insight into your finances. Overall this app is one I can't do without.

Just what I need for my money tracking. Been using this for a few years to replace Microsoft Money and, despite initial glitches has done all that I need. Recently had an issue which I reached out to the support people. They replied almost immediately and gave me the information I needed.
