The ABN AMRO app is for everyone, beginners and professionals alike. Children are able to use the app, and business clients can easily use it to do lots of their banking. Thanks to the app, you can always see all your everyday banking affairs at a glance and you can bank quickly and securely, wherever you are.

Get started with ABN AMRO too. Open a personal account in the app - it’s a breeze! You can even open a current account in the app using your international passport in many cases. No need to go to a branch.

You can do more with the app than you may know, like:
• log in to Internet Banking and confirm orders securely there
• get connected immediately with the right customer service representative
• change your personal details and settings
• block or unblock your debit card or request a replacement
• manage your digital debit cards
• send a Tikkie payment request

And of course you can also:
• do your banking right in the app and pay using iDEAL
• view your transactions, balance and bank accounts
• transfer money and schedule payment orders

Doing your banking using the ABN AMRO app for the first time
If you already have a personal or business ABN AMRO current account, you can start using the app right away.

Secure banking
Once you’re logged in to the app, you can confirm transactions using the 5-digit ID code, and often with your fingerprint or Face ID. Be sure to keep your personal ID code secret. Just like your PIN it’s meant for you alone. Also only register your own fingerprint or face on your device. You can read more about secure mobile banking at abnamro.nl/veiligmb.

What's New

In the income and expenses overview you will now receive a notification for transactions without a category. On the Help page, you can now search through the available content. Furthermore, during signing, we display a banner that allows you to directly set up simple gestures. Finally, the edge-to-edge functionality has been optimized.

Every time I open the app, I dismiss their cross selling ads. That action records my feedback that "I've seen this ad too often". Yet it keeps showing up. Don't tell me that you need a app release to stop annoying your customers? Anyway the 3 stars are for the settings menus that have been scattered across old and newer UXes for years. This app has zero or way too many PMs.

almost every day, this app will not work. I have not been able to access the app in over 2 weeks because it keeps loading to no avail. sometimes it will load, but then it will crash and just start again. I have noticed that this happens on both apple and andriloid devices. there have been too many times I have not been able to pay using ideal. I roughly get 1 successfull login per month.

Update: The issue was related to a strange functioning of my wireless network and I was not aware that ABN App is not starting without Internet access. Now it works well so back to 5 stars. Thank you! Original post: I am sorry to let you know that lately the app is not opening properly. Almost 4 out of 10 times, when I open the app, it freezes in "loading" window, with the circle turning. A phone restart used to be enough to get it working but not anymore. And it really is frustrating.

Re-registering ID Issue I am suddenly blocked and require re-registering of ID or passport. I have tried several times with the scanning of my ID card. Indication of "Done" appeared, but nothing is happening after that. This happens not only once. It was the same when I changed to a new phone. The option to use old mobile device also doesn't work. Please resolve this.

New update and again new issues. Now push messages become completely useless, as they contain no information anymore. I'd like to turn them off, but even this I can't do, because in the push messages settings I constantly get an error message. And the message itself is also completely useless as it literally says: Something went wrong. ABN AMRO needs to fire the whole team responsible for the app - it is getting worse and worse with each update.

The push notifications have gotten very useless all of a sudden. Before they used to show the actual withdrawal or deposit amount, now it just says that there was either 'a' withdrawal or deposit without the amount forcing me to go into the app to see what changed. Why was this changed and can we at least have the option to disable this censoring of data?
