I used to enjoy this app, but now the excessively intrusive ads make it impossible to take it serious. The placement of the ad doesn't even make sense, it is while you are waiting for your match to begin, the least likely time that you will click on an ad, even if you are interested. But they guarantee that you will click on it by accident though because the button to exit out of the ad is so small that you constantly miss it and click the ad itself. At least offer a paid version with no ads.

Sore-losers leave game & make u wait for time to expire. Update: lowered from 2 to 1 star. LOVED this app for years, but might let it go. They give too much power to the ads. When ads can hijack my phone & keep me from closing the ad, that's too much. Or, when I have to jump thru hoops to close ad, but it keeps redirecting back to playstore when you click the "x". News flash developers... if I clicked the "x", I don't want the app, more so, it means I want to close it. Why not respect that??

If i might make one critique it would be that's I've noticed a couple bugs in the chat box: A. It doesnt work sometimes on mobile device. B. It doesnt recognize emojis. Also it would be soo badass if there were a way to automatically translate to the language of choice of the user. Just saying.. Honestly though this is a great app I have used for a long time and will continue to use a long time from now. You guys rock & thank you.

Chess is addictive, and this app is nearly impossible to not use. There are different options to choose from to customize the experience (board, pieces, level) and offers the ability to play against not just an AI, but another person online in the app. Overall, love the app to play and it's a favorite game! Edit: I wish there was a way to delete "saved" matches. Some I kept as it's a great way to review mistakes made & learn from them. But some were accidentally kept and I would like to remove.

Ok still good app for chess but, there needs to be a limit set that if you leave or "disconnect" after a certain amount of game play that they lose within 10 secs of "reconnecting". I dont mind waiting for people to connect in the beginning or middle but it is ridiculous when they leave after the game is obviously over and make you wait 5 minutes just to get the win, and if you dont wait you lose .. which is just ... you know... asf.

Graphics were good. Settings were in depth. The game breaker for me was in the most crucial moments the game won't let you move the piece that is about to be knocked out. Also it's a pain to try to move your piece on their side because of others in the way. You can't rotate the table. 1 star because the game breakers literally breaks the game. I'd reinstall after these are fixed because the graphics and settings are nice.
