Get rid of those annoying pop ups brutal when reading an article I'm finding I'm using Breaking News ie and RTE News app more since those. pop ups New update this morning was hoping it would rid those annoying pop ups time to uninstall sadly after all the years using it and I'm using Android Samsung Galaxy ultra 24 big screen frustrating pop ups even when clicking into a news story still pops up

Whatever about being unable to comment. but the news in 60 seconds banner followed by an ad. is the most irritating box. blocks all content. and youve to wait for it to finish to click out.

This app used to be good, but they increased the frequency of the full page ad's in the last while, and made them appear about 2 seconds after opening the app as you try to scroll. Meaning you click on some terrible link, then the app opens its internal terrible browser and sends you off. I understand ad's are needed but this is grating and for the first time in years I've uninstalled the app. Not worth it anymore.

thought I'd give it another go to see if it had improved. nope, it got worse. comments disabled and thumbs gone. adds for get on property ladder from 300k are sickening And now I need to register my account to view the news. So long, won't be back

I like the Journal as a news source, but the app is super buggy. - Can't post when I create an account using email. (Android) Keeps saying I need a name, even though I entered a name many times. - Also the "App Feedback" button makes android try to open WhatsApp?? And then fail with message "Sharing failed. please try again." - Sometimes news items are duplicated in the news feed.
