Is pretty decent, but it slows down drastically after completing the story modes. You also get a lot less gems, as a lot of it is tied to completing things for the first time. This makes pulling on the banners not worth it unless a very powerful sync pair arrives there (or a sync pair featuring your favorite pokemon arrives). Also, there's a lot of quality of life options that can make grinding and navigating easier.

I've been playing this for a few years now as a mostly free player (I bought a small amount of currency once). I like some aspects, such as the long story modes. However, this game crashes too much and too randomly. Right now, I can't even do Expeditions because it crashes to home every time it loads. Once you finish the story arcs, there's very little to do. Good Sync Pairs, which are necessary, are extremely expensive. Saving your currency to buy 11 picks usually is usually a waste.

If you're a very late newbie like I am, the amount of content available may be quite overwhelming. I also don't like how they stuff your pockets with the basic currency and level up items way more than you know what to do with. The characters are rendered and animated very well, at least. The stories vary from intriguing to plotless, but it's fun if there are characters you really like.

The different way of battling is pretty fun. Being a huge fan of the Pokémon franchise, getting to see past characters have their own story lines going on, is neat. However, there is SO much to this game, its pretty overwhelming. But because I love the Pokémon franchise so much, I'm powering through the confusing aspects and hoping I learn as I go. So far, im just getting more overwhelmed. I feel like I'm not even utilizing most of what this game has to offer..

Content - there's soo much to do. It takes so long to get through it and sometimes when there's a lot and you forget to log in for a day or 2, you fall behind a bit fast but hey! Lots of stuff to do. Gacha - Man it's so weird.. You'll get a spark for characters you already have.. I wish that could change so I don't get my hopes up. Difficulty - There's lots of hard content for veteran players with rewards that are very worth it! However, some content requires players to have specific characters.

Well done, I must say. My qualms with this game are entirely resolved. I'm glad I came back when I did. So, the game has made it easier to get returning and future characters by increasing the gem total a few months ago, and now it has added a mission menu where you can progressively get rewards for your starter character that teach you how to build your later characters. On top of that, the missions also give a guaranteed good character to help you with some of the late game event content. 5/5
