I'm a longtime player and like the game in general. Yay for matching and puzzles and occasional treats. MPQ could use more characters from the wider universe instead of 28 different versions of Spiderman and Hulk, but it's still pretty enjoyable. That said, the most recent update is horrendous. My game and level had to be restored, the back button went away, and all animations (can't turn off) stutter and slow the flow. Updates are supposed to be improvements, but this is yeeeeears backward.

I've been playing MPQ almost since launch, 12 years ago. In spite of this, I not only can't recommend you play this game, but would advise against installing it. There's a new team in charge that doesn't seem to "test" their updates because they regularly introduce bugs that would be caught with even the smallest amount of testing. They seem to care more about pushing pay-to-play/win offers while simultaneously destroying what used to be a fantastic game. Cannot recommend. 0/5 stars.

It's a little tough to get going without iap, but it's fun to play. Addictive, especially to the collector... After 2025 updates, the game lags too much to play on older devices. I can no longer enjoy a quick round or three while waiting on appointments or whatever else. Rather disappointing after so many years. :/

At this point I can only assume active dev hostility to the game. Okay, so it's rife with game-breaking bugs, unusable characters, unplayable events. Okay, so it's massively diluted with no way to break in or catch up. Okay, so the gameplay design incentivizes attempting to interact with the game as little as possible. But badly nerfing characters that people have spent years, and in some cases actual money, that'll bring the rating down from two stars to one. Do not play this game.

I've been playing this game for a long time and the new developers are horrible and have made this game so frustrating to play. From poor game performance, to horrendous bugs all over the place, many that require you to close the game to resolve, Marvle Puzzle Quest has become a game of patience and pain endurance. The last, most frustrating change the developers made was to nurf loved characters in an attempt to force you to play the game the way they want you to play it. Not player focused!

After emailing the developer several times about helping me with account recovery, they completely stopped answering my emails after trying to contact them several times. So, I'm cutting my losses after investing several years in this game. Update: submitted new request when asked and still not resolved. Hope you don't treat all your customers like this.
