The story of Morphite takes place in a far off future when humanity has long since populated the distant reaches of space. The player takes on the role of Myrah Kale, a young woman residing on a space station and workshop under the care of her surrogate father, Mr. Mason. What starts as a simple exploratory mission to gather supplies to support their shop rapidly turns into a journey revealing Myrah’s unknown past and her relationship to a rare, coveted, and nearly extinct material called Morphite.

In order to unlock and understand the mysteries of her past, Myrah must travel to undiscovered planets, roam uncharted sectors of space, and confront exotic creatures and locales in search of this Morphite.

Aside from the main storyline, the worlds of Morphite are randomly generated. Encounter various creature types, landscapes, caves, rivers, and more to explore. Explore large space stations, abandoned or infested with alien life.

I'm actually blown away. First of all, I can't play in retro, I've been playing consoles since the Atari and Tandy PC's. I've waited for the day for a game like no man's sky for mobile, as I don't have a console ATM. The only reason why I'm giving it only 4 stars is because of the lack of the graphics overhaul that appears to be years overdue. If I developed this, after seeing the amazing success of NMS recently, I would've put my whole life on hold to work on this game, as it's a one of a kind.

I am extremely disappointed in this game. It is basically the exact type of game I have been searching for just to find out it's like they stopped working on it halfway through and just released it. Here's a mission where we need you to collect these 8 items on the map but the game is only gonna generate 3 of them soo.. idk, good luck dude lol. Besides the fact that you seriously only get to complete ONE. SINGLE. STORY MISSION. And then it hits you with a fee to unlock the rest of the game. There are plenty of other things to do and explore without paying, but good luck accomplishing anything without glitching out or mission items just not being there or not responding to commands.

*Deep breath* Alright. The game is excellent, the graphics are beautiful in a way only low-poly graphics can be, and the open world aspect is awesome. But I hate how 99% of the story is locked behind a paywall AND it's ad supported. I would be perfectly happy if the entire story was unlock and there were ads, or if there was a paywall for the main story but there weren't any ads. Having both, though, that infuriates me. I feel like this is an EA game with the shear level of IAPs. If there was an option to play the game w/o ads for the first part and then continue the story with the current level of ads, I would take it immediately. TL;DR: 10/10 game + 0/10 ads = 5/10 overall

1st off, the graphics is what drew me in , I love the theme of the game & you being able to explore ... I do feel like the ship should have a little more free-will to it so you can interact with more things if you are wanting to manual drive to the planet's instead of just pressing GO ... I was upset about playing a little mission with little to barely any thing drawing me to want to buy the full story ... The 1st planet was just dall & plain ... I haven't played the full story so can't judge the whole game but really want to just would hate to be let down!

I really like the game. even though the graphics are a bit blocky (polygons) but they let you play only one mission before they ask you to pay to continue the game. I know about in game purchases to things like more lives, better shields, more gold. But to stop you cold asking for money. No. If that's the case just say it's a demo (free version) So i don't waste my time.

This is an extremely fun game. Tons of things to collect and upgrade. Plus a compelling main storyline. However there is no way to backup your game. My phone broke and I had to get a new one. Thus all my progress went kaput. Before I switched phones, I did everything to try and back it up, short of finding the source files, I wasn't that dedicated, but no dice. I was quite sad because it is an enjoyable game, but a long one. So I cannot put more than two stars due to only being able to get through about half the game.
