Love the concept of this app. As a gamer, it's nice to know I'm talking to other gamers and I can jump right into games with them without having to awkwardly bring it up first. However, the app seems pretty dead. I think most of the profiles were made during covid, and they haven't been on since. The search filter could use some work too. As this is an app for gamers, we should be able to search by games. That way we could match with people with same game interests.

I love everything about this app except how restricted the free version is. Although the premium version is a bit cheaper than other dating apps, so it's worth sticking around to see if I need it. That being said, I love the interface and I definitely find myself liking more people than usual. I just have to pray they like me back because once you hit "like", they disappear and you have no way of contacting them.

The app tends to be pretty slow since the update, and there's no way to recover an account associated with a past phone number. Even if you use the same Google play account to download it doesn't matter. I had to create a new profile and my old one is still floating around out there as far as I know. This means if someone downloads kippo after my old number is reactivated they could potentially pretend to be me. Which is a huge problem.

The app itself is great. The low population of users and strict limits for free users are major detractors, though. I went through the entire list of potential matches within 150 miles in 3 days (and day 3 there were only a handful left). Also, limiting free users on how much they can say about themselves via the app's card system is not really helpful. There are other ways to nickel and dime users, no reason to keep them from telling potential matches about themselves.

Decided to try out their infinite plan because it said I had 11 + accounts interested in me and literally all of them were the classic "Give me followers". Overall besides that, never seen the majority of the app used because requires more than one person. The idea of app is good, the ability to use it is not worth it with how little the free version gives, and the paid version gives jack for the price. Save your money and go somewhere else.

Good Concept, Poor Execution. I get shown people who don't even play the same genre of games as me, and there is no way to filter them out. Additionally, I never get push notifications from the app, and it always says that there is no internet connection (which doesn't allow me to message matches) despite me having all bars and every other app on my phone working perfectly fine. I decided to log out to see if that would fix the issue, but lost all my matches.
