it's a great strategy and survival game, but the only problems are that once you get further in the game it is harder and not as fun. once you keep getting radscorpion attacks and alien attacks, you lose resources and it gets annoying because it is so constant. it is more fun in the early development of your vault than it is when you have 50+ dwellers, and it just becomes frustrating to play. if you like a challenge than it is good, its still fun to play when youre not getting constant attacks.

This is a fun game however I'm at the point where I can add an overseer's office to my vault and when I do, the game makes me go through a walkthrough on sending people out on quests but the game hangs and does not let me progress past the part where my vault dweller leaves to go on their first quest. it tells me to click on the wilderness icon however the UI isn't loaded and there is nothing to click. restarting the app causes me to have to add the overseer's office again.. all to no avail.

Played for a few weeks and got hooked! Amazing gameplay and keeps you interested. Long-time Fallout fan! Unfortunately, the day I spent $10 on this game is the last day I was able to play it. It now won't even open up past the loading screen. Have reset, uninstalled and installed again, clear cache, etc....Weird thing is....The SAME thing happened with their other game Castles. Played for a month and lost the ability to play the game on the SAME day I spent money. Extremely disappointed 😞☹️

Edited- apparently even the devs don't understand the difference between "saved vaults won't open" and "I don't understand how to locate a save file" as I just got linked, again, with the instructions for how to "restore" (open) a saved vault- that is- do the exact same thing I've been explaining didn't work. If possible, I'd lower this to negative stars. I already uninstalled before I got this really frustrating reply that assumed /I/ was too dumb to open a flipping save file.

This is one of my favorite games of all time. The graphics are cute, the gameplay is smooth, and the progression feels fair and rewarding. Plus, I think their in-app purchases are great: Super cheap (during holidays), and not game-breaking. My only two complaints? The "Quests" feature is really boring and repetitive. there's not much in the way of "active gameplay". Also, the time between quests takes FOREVER... with a bit of patience, this game will soon become your favorite!

Update: 8/17/2025 They ramped up the difficulty or something. Now my max level characters die before completing missions, and vault raids are making me use up my stores of stimpacks and radaway. It's a lot harder and I haven't changed any settings. I enjoyed the chill experience, not this version that makes me scream at the top of my lungs. Original: Excellent game. Keeps me interested, and it keeps on giving, even after the vault is full.
