My goal was to find open lifts nearby. The app is useless for this purpose, as there is neither map, nor any kind of search near some location. The website is at least partly usable, as you can at least see map with all lifts. No filter on the map either. If you know exactly the name of the resort, the information is very useful. Esp. price, open slopes, weather, webcams.

Very Useful for the weather at different altitudes, giving you a good idea of current conditions at different resorts. Nice to have the predicted snow or rainfall and freezing level. but still no dark theme, so much white and unused space, still plenty of small bugs, switching webcams how the music continues to play from the previous camera, no live temperature on the webcams compared to the website. Slow to update current information.

I've used bergfex for years and it is the best app of its type imo. No mountain weather app is close to perfect with forecasts as it is incredibly difficult to be accurate in the mountains. However bergfwx does a pretty good job Vs the competition - I 'think' because of the forecasting model they use. The app itself is easy to use and has all you need.

Good but for one important omission. Despite scouring the app and the internet, nowhere is there a complete description of all the weather symbols used, and what they mean. Shame, because the App is pretty good, but this is a fairly glaring oversight.

This year on the app the temperatures forecast for ski resorts are unreliable. Generally lists much lower temperatures than forecast in other metro forecasts and compared to actual temperatures, and out of alignment I.e.. Temperatures at night are warmer than at day.

Great app, giving you a quick overview of all the information which is important to plan your ski trip. It's easy to use, just add a resort as your favourite and you'll have it in your list on the main screen. Currently only European ski resorts. Highly recommended.
