This is a well designed app except for one major flaw: the virtual debit card. It works great until it doesn't, and it doesn't very often, because it's deactivated after a few uses and they require you to enter the application to reactivate it. I might be able to make 3 or 4 purchases, but then I find myself trying to purchase something and I can't. I have to enter the app and spend at least 2 minutes to get it working again. I've contact BBVA 3x on this issue, they are without any solution.

The app does what it should do. However, like many other responses, the amount of pop-ups just to get to our account information is very frustrating. Makes handling the virtual card a pain and I have to inform others before they open an account. To me, it is that annoying and we should have the option to prevent the unnecessary soliciting every time we open the app to do a quick transaction or check. I don't have this issue with my other banks.

terrible app, full of advertising, making it hard to see what you are actually looking for. Notifications of incoming international transfers don't work. Instead, I get DAILY notifications of BBVA advertising spam, although i have explicitly disabled such notifications in the settings. Unacceptable! As these issues have persisted for months now, I am changing banks. P.S.: Added bonus: the widget shows me the account balance and movements from 2 weeks ago. These guys are real pros!

Really displeased with the new update to the app. The re-design has eliminated the KPIs that were previously at the top that allowed you to see quickly your net worth, total income and total expenses for the month. Now you have to dig through multiple menus. they have also gotten rid of the ability to compare the evolution of your expenses where they showed you a graph comparing the months of the year to the previous year. The old app worked great.

last Ultimate update: I'm free at the end I'm happy to get rid of this bank's environment and the troublesome useless messy mobile app. €20 and €40 in total 60 euro account maintenance fee. I'm still happy to say good bye. never use this again. find online alternatives guys

WARNING: If you're an EU citizen, it's impossible to complete biometric verification of your ID. That means you cannot use this app or the BBVA website. The app only accepts Spanish DNI or TIE documents. These are not available to EU citizens, who have a green paper card without a photo. I've called BBVA support twice, and all they can do is reset your pass code. I've been to my local branch and scanned all my ID, but still cannot use the app or website.
