I've been a premium member of Astrill for over 6 years. But I'm finally fed up. constant disconnects most servers are useless no way to do a speed test for the countless servers and if a servers works, it's still unstable. you have to reconnect every few minutes. the connection is getting worse everytime they do an update. and above all... stupendiously expensive for such bad service. they finally got me to a point of switching.

Used to be very good. Last two years is absolutely garbage. Don't buy it if you are in China. Playing videogames is impossible because of constant reconnecting, I have tried different servers. Some of servers don't work at all, user support is terrible And by the and you need to reinstall the application from time to time became it's simply stopping to log in. Recommended it to my friends because before Astrill used to be very good but now..Find anything else for 1/4 price.Dont pay Astrill

Pixel 4a. Ever since the update to android 13, I have had dropped connectivity issues. On Android 12 I was able to connect for 24 hours at a time to the same server without ever opening Astrill to change servers or reconnect. Now I am lucky to get an hour before the connection drops. It's not a massive issue but when you had it really great, it's hard to go back to just OK.

This is the worst VPN. Don't waste your money like I did when I got the black Friday deal last year. It has become completely unreliable, and customer service SUCKS! Don't even try getting your money back they don't care about customer service, I've been a member for 8 years. Currently, I've switched to LetsVPN, and it's much more reliable and a hell of a lot cheaper!

Absolutely does not work. Even with 5G data and a mixture of all settings, Astrill struggles to load anything including WhatsApp messages and video calls are practically impossible. As well as that, the customer service is absolutely useless and ignored everything I've said to them while just running through a checklist of copy/paste sentences without actually reading my messages. Overall a horrible experience with a very high price tag. and be warned, refunds aren't given for any reason. Scam

If you pay for Astrill now, you will be paying to developers who has given up on this vpn about one year ago. I have been a customer for 3 years. It was THE BEST vpn in China to use. But something happened last year and everything went downhill. Their servers are now mediocre at best. Connections are unreliable. The app hasn't been updated in years. Now compare all of that with their price. It's the most expensive vpn in China. My subscription expires next month. Not renewing.
