(Update from my review roughly a year and a half ago) A gamble on whether you will be able to finish your game with all players (users, not AI) active. I still am having the same problems with players taking too long. It seems they get stuck in ads, and I have had this happen to me occasionally as well. If A-Star would like to contact me, I have a screenshot of the most recent time this happened to me. (The close ad X never appears, and you're booted from the game.)

updated review: I had deleted the app but reloaded it because the playoffs is good but.... I've been playing for a few months now and recently I'm being booted from the game because the ads won't let me out before the game times out. specially the deer hunting ad. I've been booted from the game because I couldn't exit the ad fast enough. I've been playing for a couple of years and the ads are getting frustrating. edit. the problem with the ads are they bury the x high up in the corner..

There's no way to play the opponents. You have to play the app, and even then, it deals the cards to subvert your efforts. Aesthicly, the app is superb, and if I could find a comparable app, I would use it instead. Chances that a jack is dealt as an up-card are 4.17%, yet it happens at least 3 to 6 times a game with only playing 10 to 20 hands. It should only happen, maybe twice a game at most. You can't tell me something isn't fishhy about that.

Expensive, not really random, multi-player regulates wins and losses to intentionally raise and lower your rating. The losing and winning streaks are orchestrated and not really random. How many times have you been able to go alone in a real game of Eurche. Three times for me earlier today until I got banned from playing for 24 hours. When you play with others who haven't purchased the app, you are penalized, having to wait for the ad being shown to those players to stop.

Developer knows very little about euchre and even less about designing a realistic app. Their focus is on ad revenue and nothing else. Would give a zero star if I could. How many loners have I seen in one game? 4! But at least it's far less than the ads forced on you while playing and love frozen ads forcing me to quit. Just attempted to play 3 games and all 3 started with 2 loners. Like drugs you keep playing with it hoping for something it seldom will deliver. 4.6 rating is FAKE!

Nice format. Ads are disruptive, interrupting each game 2-3 times, sometimes disconnecting you from the game because it's impossible to close them in time or at all. Play seems fair, but deals are not truly random. There are more loner hands than typical, probably to keep play exciting, but it seems random who they get dealt to. There should be heavy penalties for people who bail in the last hand or two because they're losing, forcing everyone to wait for their hand to time out.
