About this app
Do you know where Vermont is located? What city is the capital of Wisconsin? In this game, you will find all 50 states of the United States of America! All 50 state capital cities! All state flags and outline maps! From New England and the Great Lakes to the California coast and the Alaska wilderness!
You can learn states of the Northeast (for example, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and New Jersey), then move to the Midwest where you find Ohio, Illinois, South Dakota, etc. Continue with states of the South from Alabama and North Carolina to Texas. And finish with the West: states such as Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and others.
Questions are divided into six groups:
1) Guess the name or the postal abbreviation of the state highlighted on the US map (for example, LA is for Louisiana; OK is for Oklahoma).
2) Spell the names of state capitals (e.g. Salt Lake City is the capital of Utah; Lincoln is the capital of Nebraska).
3) Recognize the state by its geographical borders.
4) A game about state flags.
5) Dates of admission to the Union: from the First State–Delaware (December 7, 1787)–to the 50th state Hawaii joined on August 21, 1959.
6) State nicknames: famous like “Sunshine State” for Florida or “The Grand Canyon State” for Arizona; and less-known such as “Land of Enchantment” for New Mexico or “Mountain State” for West Virginia.
In each group, you can choose several game modes:
* Spelling quizzes (easy and hard).
* Multiple-choice questions (with 4 or 6 answer options). It’s important to remember that you have only 3 lives.
* Time game (give as many answers as you can in 1 minute) - give more than 25 correct answers to win a star.
Two learning tools:
* Flashcards - browse information about each state without guessing.
* Table of all U.S. states.
Additional levels can be downloaded (Android 5.0 and higher):
- US Cities (the pictures of 50 most famous American cities: from Philadelphia to San Diego, from Miami to Seattle).
- State Capitol Buildings (52 photos, including Washington, D.C., and Puerto Rico).
- National Parks: photos of all 63 parks from Grand Canyon and Shenandoah to Yosemite and Yellowstone. Demonstrate your knowledge of the American wilderness and prepare for new adventures!
Besides American English, the app is translated into Spanish and 14 other languages.
Advertisements can be removed by an in-app purchase.

Great little app to easily and painlessly learn state capitals. I recommend this for children and adults! Play with friends by taking turns to see who does better. Ad details: Ad banner at the bottom and short 5 second ads every 20-30 questions or so (just my guess). I appreciate that the ads are short and painless. No in-app purchases. No account or subscription necessary. Yeah! Thank you Mr. Developer! Please keep giving us more great little educational apps!

Excellent game. I've learned properly all the us states in 1 day. Can do it with no options to chose from now. Some ads yes but it's free so what you expect. Definitely worth downloading if you want to learn the states. Different levels also. Would be great if they named a state at the top and you had to click on the correct one with a pin, then once done it could be a different colour until the map is full. Just a suggestion.

This app is brilliant. I learned all of the states and where they were in less than 2 days, I learned the flags in about the same time, and I know the postal abbreviations. It gives you everything you need. I've just gone over the state nicknames and got all of them with only one mistake after the first attempt. This app has a way of making things stick. It's modest too, not too many adverts, and you can rate it if you Want to, it doesn't badger on about it. It's all you could ask for in an app.

Good with the potential of being great. You got to add an option to skip Ad at the end of each quiz after the commercial plays for so long other than that it'd be perfect just having to close the app entirely bc the Ad is so GIGANTIC LOUD & ANNOYING then getting distracted off what I was even doing in the 1st place really sucks.

I absolutely love this app as it is fun and educational as well as challenging. I had been searching for an app that would help me to learn to identify the states. I am now able to recognize all of the US states by their shape/location (something I've always wanted but never got around to), and I've also learned their respective capitals, flags and nicknames. This would have been very useful during my school years if it had been available. I'm looking forward to more fun learning. Great App!!!!!

I think the app is good for learning about the history of states and facts about the states, but it got boring quickly. The game is informative, I'll give it that, but really its not that appealing to make you keep on playing it. I'm unstalling it, srry. I would recommend this game to someone who is really fanscinated by history and likes challenges.
