About this app
DERE EVIL EXE is both a terrifying thriller with a gripping story and an unorthodox retro platformer with unique puzzles and obstacles.
In DERE EVIL EXE, you step into the tiny shoes of a silent hero named 'Knightly'. Knightly must jump, run, and manipulate environments in order to survive the heart-racing journey through a stunning pixel art world.
Within surreal structures lurk dangerous creatures known as 'corruptions'. They take the form of their creator's greatest fears. Their creepy creator, sporting a cunning visage of cheerfulness, hides in plain sight as she watches her prey fall deeper into her traps.

=======
A GAME LOST IN TIME
Modern 2d side-scrolling game with levels inspired by the simplicity and aesthetics of 16-bit arcade classics of the 80s and anime shows in the 90s.
MELODIC MADNESS
The game plays either catchy retro chiptune music or ominous orchestral music, depending on the situation.
IMMERSIVE TALE OF HORROR
A completely new meta horror story that bends the Lovecraftian creepypasta genre in ways unseen in the video game world.
A STANDALONE SEQUEL
You don't need to have played the other story-based games and visual novels in the series to enjoy this one.

The controls for the game were absolutely frustrating for a platformer, from beginning to end, but I suppose that's kinda the point. Sometimes it feels like the directional controls were too big to accurately change directions when necessary while other times they feel too small and I end up not pressing a button at all. I also hated how colliding with a moving platform seemed to cancel my double jump sometimes. It's a fantastic game otherwise, and I highly recommend it in spite of the issues with controlling the player.

Good ideas, mixed execution. I played this a few years ago and didn't complete it, so I wanted to give it another go. Nice graphics and sound, and the gameplay is difficult but fun. If you want to make a rage game, ok. If you want to make a spooky rage game that's also cool. Just don't throw me an ad nearly every time I die. This game requires constant trial and error and making me sit through ads makes me want to play it even less. Yes I can pay to remove them, but they seem poorly integrated.

Good game. That being said, most of my review will be constructive criticism. The primary "problem", maybe intentional, that I see is a lack of flow in gameplay. At one point was moving quickly, the instructive voice didn't trigger until I was falling to my death. Things I'd like in the sequal: consequential player interactions, branching storylines, and just more activities in the levels as they felt somewhat empty. Best of wishes, Dev! (Don't murder me in my sleep.)

Overall, loved it. Extremely challenging at parts. But with dedication I beat it in two days. Definitely a few jump scares I didn't expect. Caught me off guard. Great game in all. For those of us with flat thumb tips, the controls proved to be a bit of a challenge in themselves. But nothing a little practice can't fix.

Fun frustrating and creepy! The controls aren't bad but slightly frustratingly slippy but if you get used to that you can use to your advantage. Only gripe is the ending. It may sound bad, but I was so salty at the end after "deleting" them and seeing the still alive, I got a little pissed lol. But I'm not the biggest fan of no consequence endings so that's just me!

Very good game except for the major lag problems and the lame repetitiveness of the "Limbo" level. Also a let down because the game claims that it isn't for the faint of heart or people who don't love platformers, but then it isn't scary in the slightest and is a medium level of difficulty at the most. In fact, the only h thing about this game is dealing with the lag. Also why didn't you enable screen rotation? I wanna hold my phone "upside-down", man.. Every game but this one let's me.
