I loved this app until it.started possessing my phone. I leave for work at 3am and need a reliable, handy flashlight for walking to my car. I live in the sticks everyone near has big, loud dogs and I try not to turn any lights on so I don't wake up the whole neighborhood. I though I found the perfect app, easy to turn on (you can adjust the shake sensitivity) and nice and bright. Anyway had for a week and I liked the functionality but it suddenly turns on by itself ... like in the middle of the night while sitting on my nightstand!. Bye bye flashlight!

As of the latest update(1.0.62 / 11-28), Crashing in the background doesn't seem to be happening anymore. Unuseful update log, 'bug fixed' is not enough. I don't know if it was part of the fix but now there is a notification always about shaking being enabled, kinda annoying, could at least be changed to the small notification that doesn't show its icon at the top. 5 star otherwise

mostly fine, the shake activation is a bit inconsistent even when I adjust sensitivity levels. the ads on the app vary in quality, I think some seem a bit suggestive (not extremely adult) but they're not the most upsetting or off putting ads I have seen. (Youtube by comparison is far worse.)

So i use my phone frequently at work and i like to use my flashlight but i don't want to always have to use my side bar (galaxy s8) so I searched this one and read some reviews. I wish one would have said have to throw your arm out to get this sucker to turn on. I didn't have it on my phone for more than 5 minutes. But I'm sure their is a lot of junk files left over.

works well. just installed it. works with screen off for me. if i shake it too much to switch the light on and off multiple times, it sometimes doesn't work. but in real life use, like shaking once to switch on and then to off, it works well. just need to get the sensitivity right. i wish that the app didn't open when i shake the phone. it should simply turn on the light. the app shouldn't open. that's my only compliant.
