I've only tried it once. it seems like it could be helpful. theres a 7 day free trial then you have to pay for either 3 mo or a year at a time, so it isnt free and the free trial isnt really long enough to tell if it's helping you much. My tutor sometimes takes on a demonic voice, or a completely different voice, or a voice with a lot of feedback mixed in with it, or just a creepy voice overall...it makes it a little unsettling and I never know when it is going to happen so it freaks me out.

Looks great, but I only want to pay for a month at a time. The minimum is 3 months, or a year. $8.99 is fine, as long as I'm paying monthly...... *edit* I was NOT charged, because I did not choose to be charged and I pay attention before I put in my info. I will not try an app that wants me to pay for minimum 3 months. I WILL pay monthly. Honestly, your reply shows e that doing business with you would be difficult, because you sent an automated reply that is out of touch with what I really said.

The AI is quite quick. I wanted to study Korean. The app is great for those who have learned at least the basics. Definitely great if you are in need of someone to practice and have a guide for running language drills. There's a choice of language tutors, you can choose according to your learning style, from soft to a little bit bossy. There's a subscription fee. I couldn't afford it. I still believe this app is great if you for whatever reason, need a tutor or to work on your conversation

Honestly I think this app WOULD be VERY GOOD if it weren't so glitchy. Within 2 sessions on 2 different days, it froze on me 8 times. I had to exit and re-enter the app. Makes you lose your train of thought, especially when you're trying to think in another language that you are trying to learn. Have to say, of all the language apps I've tried, I've found JumpSpeak to be the most effective and well worth the price, even over Babbel.

really should be false advertising. the ads are nothing like the app and I definitely wouldn't call it free in ads. having a subscription to get extra features is one thing, only getting like 5 free messages before being told to wait and constantly being pushed to subscribe (the $99/year is the only one with a 7 day trial btw) is another. also, A0-A1 lessons don't match the level. it was far too difficult. B1 is a little too easy, and the convos don't have any structure. idk. I'd use chat gpt.

The app itself is fine. Customer service seems to be lacking. I tried the free trial but decided against it. When I tried to cancel the system gliched multiple times. Because of this I was charged for a full year. I immediately sent a refund request as they allow that within 48 hours of a charge. 2 separate messages and I've gotten no response whatsoever.
